The Suite Cordobesa (1996) was specially written by Rafael Beltrán for the interpreter. It consists of five brief pieces of a varied and mekodic descriptive discourse, like a polychromatic and birdlike musical painting, and of a well-understood post-romanticism with the typical harmonies of impressionism and even solutions with intervals of a special oriental flavour. All this creates a sensitive atmosphere wich is exotic, evocative, and a Spanish charater pasrallel tro the influences of Turina.
